Constant headwind

Just came back from the hospital where i had my MRI done on the right knee. Hopefully i should have some news in the beginning of next week. The knee has been better the past week, but there is still a small burning sensation.

Yesterday morning i spent a few hours at the hospital making some breathing tests (asthma). Since the triathlon in Fundao i have had a real hard time to breathe. I have been feeling a quite strange pressure over the chest. I decided to check it up. The results of the exams showed in fact that my breathing capacity increased significantly when making the tests with asthmatic medication. It also showed that i dont use all the air in the lungs while breathing. So, now im on asthmatic medication for one month to see if it stabilizes the lungs…I will return to the hospital in one month time to see if the values have improved.

Besides all issues that seem to appear now, Im racing in Triatlo de Oeiras (Portuguese cup) tomorrow. Its a race over the sprint distance. Last year i did pretty good, 3rd place overall. Im not expecting any good results tomorrow as im very tired and i dont feel mentally fit at all. I will do my best to support the team and try to enjoy the race as much as possible.

A special kiss and warm hug to grandma Doris that turns 90 today! Happy Birthday Grandma!
