Back in Portugal, Taper and National Championship around the corner…

Back in Portugal after a wonderful time at home

Got to spend time with my family

Did a small road trip with dad. We passed by Hofterup where we used to live. Good old memories.

Arrived last night, 28 degrees at 10pm, not bad!

Did my last quality workout in Sweden and now its time for Taper (In the context of sports, tapering refers to the practice of reducing exercise in the days just before an important competition)

Im racing this saturday in Aveiro, Olympic distance. Its the second stage of the National Championship. As i missed the first race due to my knee i have to do this one. Its one week before the world championship, but i should be able to recover for the big day.

The National Championship is my second goal for the season after the World Champs.

It will be very interesting to see what kind of shape im in. Been training hard….

Today i did a nice and calm workout in Monsanto with Primo Mario and Carlos 🙂 we always have such a good time together

I get reports from André every day and he is enjoying the camp very much 🙂 Happy for him, he deserves it!
